BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – Capt. Richard Grimison and Siegrid Dixon, both with the Propeller Club of Port Canaveral, recently gave presentations at CareerSource Brevard locations in Titusville and Rockledge on job opportunities in the maritime industry.

The presentation focused on jobs in the Merchant Marine aboard ocean-going ships and vessels of all types as well as jobs in the maritime industry at Port Canaveral.

Capt. Grimison is with the Canaveral Pilots Association and is currently serving as the 2014 President of the Propeller Club of Port Canaveral.

The club has given strong emphasis to maritime industry education, both in informing the community about the industry as well as supporting maritime educational opportunities in Brevard public schools and local colleges.
