Both events are being held in part to recognize Hispanic Heritage Month and also to raise money for the Brevard Hispanic Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which connects the local Hispanic community with government resources, businesses and civic organizations.

“This is one of the biggest cultural events in our area,” said Councilmember Harry Santiago.

“On behalf of the mayor and all of council I want to encourage our residents to experience the fun and culture that this event brings to our area.”
