Crist Retakes Lead Over Scott In WFLA Poll

MEDICAL MARIJUANA AMENDMENT SUPPORT BELOW 60%

TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA — Former Governor Charlie Crist now leads sitting Gov. Rick Scott in the latest poll results released by WFLA TV.

crist-scott-sliderThe poll shows a 11-point swing since WFLA’s poll results from Sept. 9, which showed a five -point lead for Scott. In the latest poll, Crist now enjoys a six point lead, leading Scott, 46%-40%.

Other notable results in the poll include lower support for Florida’s medical-marijuana initative, with only 52% in support. The amendment needs 60% to be approved as a constitutional amendment.
