FishLips Takes ‘People’s Choice’ At Taste of the Coast

Florida Retina Specialist Wins Best Decorated Table

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – By popular vote, FishLips Waterfront Bar & Grill took top honors as the “People’s Choice” at the first annual Taste of the Coast, presented by the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce.

More than 350 people attended the event at the Cocoa Beach Country Club. The Master of Ceremonies for the evening was Geo Ropert, Chief Communication Director with Brevard Family Partnership.

Seventeen food and beverage vendors gave the public a chance to sample their delicious appetizers, entrees, desserts and beverages.

More than 20 local business vendors displayed their information and products. Also, those who attended enjoyed entertainment from John Condon.

Florida’s Fresh Grill was voted the second place People’s Choice award and Wild Ocean Seafood Market took third place. The Best Decorated Vendor Table went to Florida Retina Specialists.

“The event was a huge success for our first year,” said Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce CEO Linda Webster.

“We are thankful for having such great support from our local community. We are looking forward to hosting the event again next year.”

Sponsors included Intercoastal Insurance, Inc., Health First, City of Cocoa Beach, Victory Casino Cruises, Fishlips Waterfront Bar & Grill, Culligan Water, Community Bank of the South, Effex Agency – Digital Marketing and Solutions and Auman Photo Studio.

The Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce was established in 1968 and serves Cape Canaveral, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, Kennedy Space Center, Merritt Island, Patrick Air Force Base, Port St. John, Rockledge, Palm Shores, Suntree and Viera.
