Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Automobile In Melbourne

MELBOURNE-PD-CSI-180-8MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — A pedestrian was struck and killed by an automobile on Sarno Rd. in Melbourne.

According to officer Chris Livingston, Melbourne Police Department responded to a call that was received at approximately 11 p.m. on Saturday regarding pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival a subject was located near 1515 Sarno Rd. , with the vehicle and driver also on scene.

According to Livingston, the pedestrian was struck while attempting to cross the road and pronounced dead at 1:38 a.m. inside Holmes Regional Medical Center. Names have not been released by Melbourne Police Department.
