Sheriff’s Agents Investigate Armed Robbery Near Sharpes

Armed Burglary 1299626 - sliderSHARPES, FLORIDA — The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Armed Robbery that occurred at approximately 9:54 PM on September 25, 2014, at the Dollar General located at 3915 North Highway 1 in Sharpes.

According to Brevard County Sheriff’s Office public information officer David Jacobs, an unidentified white or hispanic male between believed to be approximately 25-30 years of age entered the business armed with a sawed-off shotgun. The suspect was described as being between 5’9” and 5’10” and approximately 200 pounds. As seen in the video above, the suspect was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with a white bandana pulled over the lower part of his face.

Witnesses said the suspect fled the area on foot in a southbound direction.
