As part of “Space Coast Medicine Week” sponsored by Space Coast Medicine & Active Living magazine, people may bring their unused prescription drugs to the Melbourne Hilton Rialto to dispose of them safely courtesy of the Brevard County Sheriff Office.

The event starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 12 p.m. and will be held in conjunction with the Doctors Goodwill Foundation Health Fair and Health Insurance Expo.

“Disposing of unused prescription drugs safely is an important thing and we would like to thank the Brevard County Sheriffs Office for making this possible,” said Giles Malone of Brevard Productions and Maverick Multimedia, which annually produces the events of Space Coast Medicine Week.
