That was apparent at the recent Festival of Trees, sponsored by the Junior League of South Brevard. The festival kicked off with a Friday evening red carpet gala followed by two days of family fun.

This year’s festival — the 30th such annual event for the women’s group — was hosted by the Foosaner Art Museum in downtown Eau Gallie and sponsored by Florida Institute of Technology.

The evening included cocktails and hors d’ouvres, live music by a Brevard Symphony Orchestra Ensemble, a luxury auto showcase by Presenting Sponsor Audi Melbourne, cigar and scotch pairings and more.

Guests had an opportunity to preview the beautifully designed Christmas trees for auction and be the first to participate in the favored “buy it now” option.

All proceeds will benefit the Junior League of South Brevard, Inc.’s current community projects: Fueling Kids and Kids in the Kitchen, focusing on Improving the Health of Children through Nutrition and Physical Activity.
