This race is similar in format to other adventure races some of you have previously competed in, but is unlike any other adventure race you have ever seen.

This course is the ultimate challenge, designed to present you with the unexpected as you attempt to escape from jail!

Located on the back grounds of the Brevard County Jail, this race will challenge you both mentally and physically to see if you have hat it takes as you and your fellow competitors attempt to escape from Jail while being pursued by Brevard County’s SWAT Team, K-9 Unit and Mounted Posse.

If captured, there will be a minor time penalty causing your time to be extended to complete the race.

This course is designed for both the serious competitor who wants to brag to their friends about their rigorous escape and for the novice who just wants to come out with their friends and have a great time while supporting an amazing non-profit organization.

This unique race is a 3-mile outdoor course through the woods with 12-15 obstacles requiring strategy, skill and physical endurance while avoiding capture. You can compete as an individual or as a team with an award presented to the top Public Safety team and Private Business team. We encourage everyone to compete and also to bring fellow escapees (teammates) to participate in the competition.

Watch out for the bloodhounds and SWAT team. You don’t want to get detained in the holding cell! The event will be held at the Brevard County Jail Complex, 860 Camp Road in Cocoa. (See map below)
