The City of Cocoa is encouraging the local business community to participate in Small Business Saturday on November 29 by launching the #SHOPCOCOA campaign. Small Business Saturday falls between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year. It is no secret that spending your hard earned dollars in your own community helps to sustain and create jobs for residents, i.e. your neighbors. BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The City of Cocoa is encouraging the local business community to participate in Small Business Saturday on Nov. 29 by launching the #SHOPCOCOA campaign.

Small Business Saturday falls between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year. It is no secret that spending your hard earned dollars in your own community helps to sustain and create jobs for residents, i.e. your neighbors.

Shopping local increases the tax base of our City, ultimately creating a thriving community and a better quality of life for residents.

While this small business holiday was originated by American Express, it is recognized by communities nationwide. Communities nationwide are creating their own brand, campaigns, and holiday shopping ideas to encourage locals to spend within their own communities.
