BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Commissioner Robin Fisher’s District 1 Office in Titusville is a drop-off point for this year’s Toys for Tots program.

Toys will be collected until Dec. 12, and will then be delivered to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve as part of the Let It Snow Downtown Street Party in Historic Downtown Titusville. The Dist. 1 Office is located at 400 South St., Suite 1-A, in Titusville.

The Toys for Tots Program hopes to distribute new, unwrapped toys as holiday gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. The primary goal is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive and patriotic citizens.

The Let It Snow event will be held from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Dec. 12. The event includes falling snow, holiday lights, live music and performances, as well as vendors, arts & crafts, food trucks and Santa Claus.

“We’re happy to take part in the annual Toys for Tots program and a mission that we hope brightens the holiday season for our area youngsters in need,” Fisher said.

“We’re collecting unwrapped and new toys now, and it’s our hope to bring smiles to these young faces and to celebrate this wonderful Let It Snow annual holiday tradition in downtown Titusville. Everyone’s invited.”
