BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida’s men’s basketball team scored its biggest victory of the young season on Friday upsetting nationally seventh-ranked Chipola College 89-83 in Niceville.

Eastern Florida improved to 4-0 with the victory over the state’s top-ranked team and gave head coach Jeremy Shulman his 93rd victory with the Titans.

“I’m really proud of my guys tonight,” Shulman said. “They really battled. We were in a hostile environment against a great team and our guys really came through. It was a real team effort.

“Now we turn our attention to a very talented and nationally number 14th-ranked Northwest Florida team that we play on their home court.”

Tipoff is 7:30 p.m. Central time on Saturday.

Eastern Florida led Chipola by 15 points with two minutes to go before the Indians fought their way back into the game.
