$1.4 million dual-agency project

BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Hollywood Boulevard at Fell Road in West Melbourne will be reopened to traffic by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26.

The closure was a result of intersection improvements, including drainage, new turn lanes on Hollywood Boulevard, sidewalks, utility adjustments and traffic signal installation, that began in June.

The new traffic signal will be in flash mode upon road reopening. Please use caution.

After Hollywood Boulevard reopens to traffic, work will continue on Fell Road east of Hollywood Boulevard, where a turn lane is planned.

Lane closures are expected on Fell Road as the final portions of the $1.4 million dual-agency project with the City of West Melbourne are completed.

The project is expected to be substantially complete by the end of January 2015.
