Landau Murphy To Perform At Heidi’s Jazz Club This Weekend

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH. FLORIDA – America’s Got Talent Winner Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. will perform at Heidi’s Jazz Club in Cocoa Beach this weekend, on both Friday and Saturday nights.
Heidi’s Jazz Club has been the number one hangout for jazz lovers and jazz musicians on Florida’s Space Coast since Heidi and Eddie opened the club in 1992.
Murphy, the Sinatra-singing season six winner of NBC Television’s America’s Got Talent, will perform at the intimate Heidi’s Jazz Club with one show on Friday and two on Saturday.
Back by popular demand, Murphy is looking forward to his return to Cocoa Beach to Heidi’s Jazz Club for some up-close and intimate performances on Saturday from 8:30 p.m until 9:45 p.m., and two shows on Saturday starting from 6:15 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., and the second set from 8:30 p.m. until 9:45 p.m.
Landau’s first Columbia Records album, “That’s Life,” produced by Grammy winner Steve Tyrell, debuted at #1 on the Billboard jazz charts in 2011.
He released his follow-up holiday album “Christmas Made for Two” in 2013, featuring Christmas classics, new sounds of the season, and a special guest cameo from Glenn Leonard, former lead singer of the Temptations, on their soulful duet of “Silent Night.”
The CD has helped raise thousands of dollars for the Children’s Home Society. Landau’s autobiography published by Headline Books titled “LandauEugene Murphy Jr. – From Washing Cars to Hollywood Star” spent several weeks in the top spot of Amazon’s Jazz Books chart late last year.
