Melbourne Police Seek Aggravated Battery Suspect

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOUNRE, FLORIDA – An incident early Sunday morning at about 2 a.m. in the downtown area of Melbourne resulted in a man being struck in the 800 block of East New Haven, according to the Melbourne Police Department. (Map above)

As a result of the blow, the victim fell to the ground and suffered a serious head injury.

The Melbourne Police Department is currently investigating this incident, and the victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and further investigation.
