Brevard County Parks and Recreation is hosting the 5k Reindeer Dash & Jingle Bell Walk at the Viera Regional Community Center, 2300 Judge Fran Jamieson Way in Viera, beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Parks and Recreation is hosting the 5k Reindeer Dash & Jingle Bell Walk at the Viera Regional Community Center, 2300 Judge Fran Jamieson Way in Viera, beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6.

Check in and day of registrations begin at 7 a.m. The cost is $10 per participant or $5 with the donation of an unwrapped toy.

All gifts received will be donated to the Salvation Army for distribution to families during the upcoming Holiday Season.

Participants can enjoy light refreshments and have a chance to win one of dozens of door prizes. Race goodie bags will also be distributed.

The focus of the race is family and fun while giving back to our community via donated gifts for those in need.

Individual times will not be recorded, however, there will be a race clock for runners to track their times.

The race is open to all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult. All activities are conducted and supervised by Brevard County Parks and Recreation Staff.
