He cut his main wrist tendon, the whole pinky tendon and the main artery, losing a lot of blood in the process. When Daniel rushed to the Palm Bay Hospital emergency room, First Choice Medical Group’s Dr. Kyle Moyles was on call – and Daniel’s parents are so glad that he was.

“We were blown away as we were treated so well and quickly by Dr. Moyles, even though we had no insurance,” they said.   Just 12 weeks after the surgery was performed, Daniel bowled a 300 twice, an incredible feat in itself, not to mention considering the extent of his injuries from the accident.  “Dr. Moyles is awesome,” said Daniel.

A native of Brevard County, Dr. Moyles is a graduate of Melbourne Central Catholic School, where he was Valedictorian. Dr. Moyles completed his residency at the University of Miami, and finished a hand surgery fellowship at Brown University.

After his fellowship, Dr. Moyles studied under Dr. Edward Akelman (President of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand). Dr. Moyles has served on the Board of Governors of both the Florida Medical Association and the FMA Political Action Committee, where he remains committed to advocating for policies that help physicians improve patient care.
