three unknown suspects hit walmart
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Cocoa police is currently investigating a grand theft that occurred at the Cocoa Walmart store and need your help to identify the suspects.
According to the Cocoa Police Department, at approximately 5:15 a.m. on Wednesday morning, three unknown suspects, two women and one man, entered the store located at 2700 Clearlake Road, and proceeded to the electronics department.
One of the female suspects was seen on store surveillance video breaking the glass to a counter where cell phones and other electronics were kept.
The male suspect acted as a look out while both female suspects took approximately $19,000 worth of cell phones and electronic equipment, according to police.
All three suspects then exited the store and fled the area in an unknown make or model blue vehicle.
The same three suspects were also seen on store surveillance video entering the Walmart store located in Palm Bay, at about 3:58 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
The suspects then went directly to the electronic department. A store employee was behind the electronic counter, at which time the suspects turned around and exited the store.
“It is obvious the subjects were targeting the electronic counter where some cell phones and other electronics were kept,” said Cocoa Police Public Information Officer Barbara Matthews in a release.
If you know the identities of any the suspects, or know of cases, please call Detective Chris Bradshaw at 321-863-9489 or the Cocoa Police Department Dispatch at 321-639-7620.
