Fairglen Elementary Running Club

With the support of the community, Fairglen Elementary’s Running Club has successfully grown within the first two years of its development. Student members have different athletic abilities that range across the spectrum from cross country to first-time runners, however their goals remain similar to develop their exercise patterns or athletic potential. BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – With the support of the community, Fairglen Elementary’s Running Club has successfully grown within the first two years of its development.

Student members have different athletic abilities that range across the spectrum from cross country to first-time runners, however their goals remain similar to develop their exercise patterns or athletic potential.

Apart from regular practice, the club participates in annual events including the Candy Cane 5K (3.1 miles) at the YMCA Cocoa Campus, the Long Doggers Kids Marathon (2.62 miles), and half-marathon (1.31 miles) in Melbourne Beach, to promote a sense community and individual accomplishment.
