An area of dense sea fog along the Volusia County and North Brevard County coasts will reduce visibility to less than a few hundred yards.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOUNRE, FLORIDA – An area of dense sea fog along the Volusia County and North Brevard County coasts will reduce visibility to less than a few hundred yards.

This fog bank may venture inland towards the south and west on Wednesday evening and overnight. Locations along the coast and inland north of a Kissimmee to Cocoa Beach line may see periods of reduced visibility.

Motorists should slow down if fog is encountered. Use your low beam headlights and allow plenty of following distance between your vehicle and the one ahead of you.

Boaters may also encounter sea fog out 20 nautical miles from Flagler beach to the Volusia-Brevard county line. Visibilities may be reduced to 1 nautical mile or less tonight.
