BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Health Information Technology (HIT) Program at Eastern Florida State College is accepting applications for the spring 2015 term.
The deadline for application is January 8, 2015. The program application fee has been waived for this term.
Program acceptance is considered “open entry” and on a first-come, first-served basis.
An A.S. degree from the HIT program is designed to prepare students to take the AHIMA national certification examination to become a Registered Health Information Technician Health Information Technology professionals are trained to supervise many of the Health Information Management department’s daily functions.
They play a critical role in the collection, processing, retrieval, analysis, communication, dissemination and maintenance of information necessary for research, planning and finance.
