BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Swingtime delivers an evening of Classical Swing on Jan. 6 and 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the Melbourne Auditorium, 625 Hibiscus Blvd.

There is no charge for the concert and tickets are not required. The concert will feature as special guest musicians the Melbourne Community Orchestra (MCO), playing during the second half of the concert.

This is the fifth year that the two organizations have collaborated on their winter performances, and Swingtime will return the “visit” when the MCO presents “Get Jazzed” on February 4 and 5.

For “Classical Swing,” Conductor Art Martin will lead Swingtime and the Melbourne Community Orchestra in a variety of classical jazz tunes, such as Big Band Medley, Sweet Georgia Brown and A Change is Gonna Come. Popular vocalist Len Fallen will be featured, along with the Swingtimers Vocal Quintet. Pre-show entertainment will begin at 6:45 p.m.
