UPDATE: Fire Rescue Dodges Bullets To Douse Blaze

BREVARD COUNTY • CANAVERAL GROVES – A blaze in Canaveral Groves was knocked down by Brevard County Fire Rescue as a fast moving fire heavily involved the second floor of a home, while multiple rounds of ammunition went off as a result of the intense heat and flames.

About 10 fire trucks and emergency vehicles were on the scene to fight the blaze.

The first report of the house fire, located in the 3000 block of Pine Street, came in about about 10:40 a.m. on Wednesday.

The home was not occupied at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
