question and answer panel discussion
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Should you seek or accept investment from professional investors? If you do, will you lose control of your business?
These questions and more will be answered during a panel discussion on Tuesday, February 10 at the 6 p.m. dinner meeting of Founders Forum.
The group will help businesses understand the expectations of professional investors, sharing advice and a look inside the process of professional investment into private businesses.
Panel presenters include Randy Poliner, President and Managing Partner of Antares Capital; Casey Swercheck, Vice President of Capitala Investment Advisors and Dr. Peter McAlindon, CEO of Blue Orb, Inc., founding member of venture fund and business accelerator, venVelo and Entrepreneur in Residence at the Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business.
Web agency owner and Founders Forum board member, Joshua Adams of Rock Paper Simple knows other small businesses can benefit from the expertise of the panelists and business professionals at Founders Forum.
“Each Founders Forum event is designed to inspire, educate and connect entrepreneurs,” said Adams.
“This is a particularly great topic; there are so many business start ups and existing businesses that could benefit from an infusion of investor capital. This event will teach business owners how to approach potential investors and help them understand what they should be prepared to deliver.”
The $35 advance event registration includes networking, dinner and the featured program. $45 at the door.
