BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Beginning to dream is a path some people take in order to step into better times.
Acting on the dream of home ownership is the step toward a better life that matters to the Ross family.
On Saturday, January 24 ,Habitat for Humanity of Brevard County, Inc., in partnership with Bank of America, will celebrate the wall-raising of a new build project at 308 Elaine Drive in Titusville, with the Ross family.
Bank of America donated the property.
The Ross family will purchase the Habitat house once it has been completed by the Habitat construction team and a community of volunteers.
The family consists of a mother, Alvita, and her five children ranging from 15 years-old to 1 year-old.
“Owning a home will give my family a sense of independence while allowing my children to have a stable place to grow and learn. I am thankful for the opportunity to prosper and that my children will see that anything is possible,” said Ross.
“Families like Alvita and her children might not otherwise be able to see home ownership as a part of a better life without such giving business partners like Bank of America teaming with Habitat,” said Diane Koenig, executive director of Habitat for Humanity of Brevard County, Inc.
“It will be great working with Alvita and her family.”
The public is invited to attend and join the celebration for the Hinson family.
