Lockdown Lifted At Beachside Schools, Police Seek Suspect

The lockdown put in place for Ocean Breeze Elementary and Indian Harbour Montessor was lifted at about 10 a.m. after a report by police of shots fired Thursday morning at about 7:45 a.m.

BREVARD COUNTY • INDIAN HARBOUR BEACH, FLORIDA – The police continue to investigate shots fired that resulted in the lockdown put in place for Ocean Breeze Elementary and Indian Harbour Montessor this morning at about 7:45 a.m.

The lock down was lifted at about 10 a.m. on Thursday morning.

The lockdown was a result of the Indian Harbour Police reporting shots fired at 7:39 a.m. on Thursday in the area of Timpoochee Drive.

According to police, they are investigating the incident, and are looking for a black or hispanic male suspect that was last seen wearing shorts and a red shirt.
