BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Lawrence Victor McDaniel, 93, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015.
He is survived by his daughter, Anita Oglesby, his son, Robert McDanie, his grandchildren, Catlin and Ian McDaniel and his sister Donna Levins.
He was of the Great Generation that served in World War II, flying for the Army Air Corps in Europe and later the Air Force, retiring in 1962.
He married Gladys May Smith of Nottingham England in 1945 who passed away in 2011 after 64 years marriage.
He was a man of simple values and faith, believing in family, honesty and fairness.
McDaniel’s family will greet friends from 3-4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21 at Beach Funeral Home, located at 1689 S. Patrick Drive.
There will be a celebration of life to follow at 4 p.m.
