Class 4A Semifinal Boys Basketball Game

ABOVE LIVESTREAM: The Holy Trinity Tigers (22-7) will take on the Godby Cougars (31-0) in a Class 4A state semi-final game to be played at the Lakeland Center in Lakeland on Wednesday at 11 a.m. The winner of this game will play in the state championship game on Thursday vs. the winner of the Dunbar/Cardinal Newman game.

The Cougars, the #1 ranked team in Class 4A, are led by a trio of players scoring in double figures; Quan Jackson (13.2), Londell King (12.1), and Jordan Gaskins (10.3).

The Tigers have their own trio of double figure scorers in Skyler Hogan (16.0), Julian Gardner (12.0), and Josh Porteous (10.0). The big bodies of J’Von Butler and London Gowins help Holy Trinity control the boards.

The “Friday Night Locker Room” will be broadcasting the game live on SpaceCoastDaily.com, with the pre-game show set for 10:50AM.

The winner of the game will play the winner of the Godby/Andrew Jackson game in the state semifinal game that will be held nextWednesday, Feb. 25th in Lakeland.

The Pregame show will get underway at 6:50 p.m., with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m.
