BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – A suspect whose image was captured on a security camera after a theft at a local hotel is being sought by police for vandalism and petit theft.

Palm-Bay-Police-Patch-200According to police, the theft occurred Wednesday around 6:30 p.m. at a hotel located just off I-95.

The suspect punched the lock on the vending machine and stole less than $100 in coins inside.

The method is similar to other crimes in the area and detectives are sharing the information with other jurisdictions which may have similar cases.

Anyone with information that can help identify the suspect in the photograph is asked to contact Palm Bay Police Sgt. Scott Smith at 321-726-5607.
