Brevard County Fire Rescue and Palm Bay Fire Rescue units responded to a house fire at about 4 a.m. in West Melbourne this morning in the 3000 block of Grace Street.

BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue and Palm Bay Fire Rescue units responded to a house fire at about 4 a.m. in West Melbourne this morning in the 3000 block of Grace Street.

FIRELOGO-200According to Brevard Fire Rescue, the blaze is suspected to have started in a bedroom and was quickly extinguished.

The Red Cross is assisting the family of nine people with temporary housing and assistance.

No injuries were reported.

Brevard Fire Rescue is investigating the cause of the fire.
