BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of spending the day with our “Sheriff For A Day,” Deputy Frank Santiago from our motor unit.

Deputy Santiago has been a member of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office for over 18 years and currently serves the citizens of our county as a member of our motor unit.

Deputy Santiago is also heavily involved as a volunteer in West Melbourne where he coaches youth football.

The “Sheriff For A Day” Program chooses one member of our agency each month to spend the day with the Sheriff.

They learn about the various aspects involved in serving as Brevard County Sheriff.

Also, this gives me an opportunity to spend time getting to know our members and their future goals.

I would like to personally thank Frank for spending the day with me and for everything he does for our agency and citizens.
