BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida’s softball team won its first two FCSAA Southern Conference games of the season on Sunday sweeping Broward College 4-3 and 11-3 in Davie.

Eastern Florida improved to 10-12 overall and 2-4 in the conference. The Titans have won four straight games. Broward fell to 0-3 and 5-20.

Kayla Byers was the winning pitcher in the first game. Shelby Nazworth went 2-for-4.

Dajia Jones was the winning pitcher in the second game. Nazworth went 2-for-4 with two triples and five runs batted in. Carly Nichols went 2-for-4 with three runs batted in.

Next up for the Titans is a non-conference 4 and 6 p.m. doubleheader on the Palm Bay Campus against the College of DuPage and the University of RioGrande respectively.
