BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard Humane Society will raise money to help care for homeless animals that visit their adoption centers each year by hosting the Paws on the Catwalk Fashion Show.

The event will be held on Saturday, March 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Hilton Rialto Place in Melbourne.

Sheriff Wayne and Susan Ivey will emceeing the event.

During the fashion show, local celebrities will be strutting down the runway with their pets, or an adoptable one, from the shelter modeling fashions from Downtown Divas Melbourne and Michael’s Men’s Store.

The Paws on the Catwalk Fashion Show event will kick off with each model raising a minimum of $2,000 in just six weeks leading up to the event by participating in a friendly fundraising competition.

The cost to attend the Paws on the Catwalk Fashion Show is $40 per person and includes a meet and greet with some of the Brevard Humane Society’s adoptable animals, shopping, a fashion show, lunch and a silent auction.

All proceeds from this event will help the Brevard Humane Society raise awareness and financial support for the hundreds of unwanted and abandoned animals that visit their facilities each year who need a safe and loving new forever home.

The Brevard Humane Society’s adoption centers are a no kill facility. The humane society does not receive any financial support from tax dollars.

All of their funding comes through donations, adoption fees, product sales and fundraisers.
