BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Marlene Anne Muirhead, 82, passed away on Monday, March 23 in her home with her family at her side.

She was born in Canada, Nova Scotia in the town of Sheet Harbor on September 5 1932.

Marlene was a resident of Satellite Beach in Brevard County since 1977.

In her youth, she sang on the radio and appeared with showcase big bands.

Marlene was married to the late Col. Cecil (Cy) Muirhead for 52 years.

She was a volunteer “Pink Lady” and was involved with ministries assisting others in need.

Marlene was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.

She was everyone’s grounding post, the go-to person who would listen, console and share her wisdom from deep rooted faith.

She had an unselfish, loving and generous giving spirit.

She is survived by her two sons Mark and Larry; two granddaughters, Julie and Brittany; four siblings, Kenneth and John Wadman, Agnes Blakney and Susan Juhola; and daughters in law Elaine and Alba.

Funeral service and burial will be at 10:45 a.m. on April 2, at South Florida V.A. National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
