Melbourne Police Arrest Two Suspects For Prostitution

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Melbourne Police Department Special Investigations Unit conducted a prostitution detail on Tuesday and have arrested two suspects.
One arrest was in the south end of the city on the US 1 Corridor and the second arrest was located on the north end of the city in the area of US 1 and Aurora Road.
According to Melbourne police, Jessica Wilster, 27, and Jamie Lane-Hope, 49, were arrested and charged with Solicitation to Commit Prostitution.
The detail started at 8 a.m. and ended around 10:30 a.m.
In continuing efforts to target known prostitutes within the City of Melbourne, Melbourne police have made it an emphasis to target prostitution.
The Melbourne Police Department is currently investigating this incident and more information may be available at a later time.
