ORLANDO, FLORIDA – It’s official, Orlando City Soccer Club’s home opener against fellow league newcomers New York City FC is sold out.

Supporters responded en masse to Operation #FillTheBowl and the dramatic debut of Major League Soccer’s (MLS) newest teams will unfold before a packed Orlando Citrus Bowl on March 8, 2015.

Kick-off is set for 5:00 p.m. ET on ESPN2.

The only tickets remaining for purchase to the inaugural match is a limited number of seats held for season ticket sales.

As previously announced last week, the Club has less than 1,000 seats remaining for season ticket inventory.

As a result of the March 8 sellout, admission to several special events throughout the coming week no longer will include a ticket to the match.

All fans that have already purchased admission for these events will be honored for the game.

The Club also announced that ticket demand is strong for the rest of the season, as the Lions’ second home match against Vancouver Whitecaps FC is nearing a sellout as well.
