This annual three-day event highlights military aviation and features some of the most famous trainer, transport, fighter and bomber aircraft that flew in combat around the world.

This year the event’s highlight will be the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds who will perform all three days.

The Warbird Airshow will also feature “Remembering Vietnam,” WWII veteran and Doolittle Raider Lt. Col. Dick Cole, and Vietnam veteran and DAV National Commander Ron Hope.

Cole, along with Vietnam veteran and DAV National Commander Ron Hope.

In addition to the daily three hour aerial performance, this family-friendly event encompasses military and civilian aircraft static displays, military re-enactors and firepower demonstrations, flight simulators, public airplane and helicopter rides.

The flagship aircraft of the TICO Warbird museum is a C-47 Skytrain, “TICO Belle.”

The Valiant Air Command was started by a group of 12 individuals in 1977.  It all began with a few member-owned surplus military aircraft.

Now the TICO Warbird Airshow boasts more than 40 aircraft each year. They’ve added in pyrotechnics, fireworks and ground events such as car displays, a kid’s carnival, live music and souvenir vendors.

The flightline opens to spectators every day at 8:30 a.m.

Tickets may be purchased online at VACWarbirds.net. Prices are $18 for adults and $5 for children ages 5 through 12. Ticket price include free parking and access to the Warbird Alley Flight Line.
