BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – On March 21, from 8 to 9 a.m., Mayor Henry Parrish hosts his quarterly “Walk with the Mayor” event at Taylor Park in Cocoa Village.

CITY-OF-COCOA-SEAL-FULLGet the chance to chat with Mayor Parrish about upcoming projects, events and initiatives within the City of Cocoa all while promoting a healthier lifestyle.

Those interested in participating in this walk should meet at Taylor Park playground near the Cocoa Civic Center.

Mayor Parrish will lead the walk throughout Cocoa Village while initiating discussion about the community.

This is a great opportunity for the community to get some time with the Mayor in a relaxed setting and learn more about what the City of Cocoa has planned for the future as well as share your ideas, concerns and opportunities with him.

“Walk with the Mayor” is a quarterly event that Cocoa Mayor Henry Parrish started at the end of last year. Each quarter Mayor Parrish will hold the walking event in a different district within Cocoa.

Last quarter the walk was held at Junny Rios Martinez Park in district 3.

Cocoa has become the recreational hub for Brevard County with dozens of walking and biking events taking place in the City of Cocoa annually.

There are a number of businesses throughout Cocoa that cater to recreational sports such as Daddy Ultra Runs, Village Bike Shop, Village Outfitters and more.
