After a Christopher McFarland ground out, Brennan singled home Garcia. Maciel then uncorked a wild pitch. Coulter stepped to the plate and drilled a two-run blast to left to give the Manatees an 8-2 advantage.

It was Coulter’s sixth home run of the season.

Lakeland scored two in the bottom half of the fourth on a two-run single by Javier Betancourt, but Brevard County would respond with two runs of their own in the fifth.
