Seven students, accompanied by teachers and Project Search program support staff from Health First, were guided through all production areas where they engaged with technical staff to learn more about the high tech work environment and career options.

Ten supporting members of the Space Coast Disability Council – to include representatives from the Florida State Division of Blind Services, Brevard Achievement Center, and AVET Project – joined the group to learn more about Project Search and the Craig Technologies workplace, and to network with other organizations and businesses that provide services to people with disabilities.

An estimated one in five people in Brevard County live with some form of disability.

Disability can be related to military service, or can even be as basic as vision or hearing impairment.
