BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — The Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Business Recognition Committee has announced the selection of Fishlips Waterfront Bar and Grill as Business Champion of the Month.
Fishlips was recognized for their support of the community by always willing to donate services, food and monies to various endeavors.
Fishlips was also cited for being the stimulus behind this year’s First Annual Brewmasters Invitational at Port Canaveral, a huge success and much anticipated returning event to Brevard County.
According to Gregory Weido, Business Recognition Committee Chair, the Business Champion of the Month is an award that is designed to recognize excellence in the business community.
“The primary goal of the BRC,” Weido said, “is to recognize outstanding business performance in the community. We know that the backbone of the nation is the small business owner and the Business Champion of the Month award is the Chamber’s way of saying ‘Job well done!’ and to really focus on praising these hard working folks.”
Nominations can be made by visiting the Chamber’s website.
The award recipient is chosen by members of the Business Recognition Committee.
“Fishlips is very proud to receive this award,” said Rich Hensel, co-owner of Fishlips Waterfront Bar and Grill.
“We’ve been in business for over 10 years and are very proud of our brand. We attribute our success and growth to all of the community support. We strive to support our community and the organizations that make our area a great place to live, work and play.”
