Five Juveniles Arrested In Searstown Mall Burglaries, One Suspect At Large

Titusville Police Detectives have arrested five juveniles, ranging from age 12 to 15, in connection with the Searstown mall burglary on May 2 in which four businesses were burglarized.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police Detectives have arrested five juveniles, ranging from age 12 to 15, in connection with the Searstown mall burglary on May 2 in which four businesses were burglarized.

According to the Titusville police, hours after the burglaries were discovered, an alert officer spotted a knife stolen from one of the businesses on a suspicious person he had checked out.

Detectives were able to confirm that the knife was an item stolen from the Eagle Talon Sharp store inside the mall.

That led to several leads and charges on six local juveniles, and one 17-year old Titusville teen remains at large.

Most of the property stolen from the businesses has been recovered. All the juveniles are from Titusville.

Charges among those charges include Armed Burglary, Burglary, Grand Theft and Theft.

The suspects are not being identified by Space Coast Daily due to their age.
