Manny the Manatee To Appear At Habitat of Brevard ReStore In Palm Bay

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Manny the Manatee will appear at the Habitat for Humanity of Brevard County ReStore at 4515 Babcock Street NE in Palm Bay on Saturday, May 16 from 12 noon to 2 pm.

Anyone who purchases tickets to the Habitat sponsored Manatees games on June 4, 5 and 6 will get their photo taken with Manny and be eligible for special Brevard County Manatees prizes.

Tickets prices are $10.00 each and include single game admission and a voucher for an official Brevard County Manatees baseball cap.

The games between the Brevard County Manatees and the Dunedin Blue Jays will feature the Manatees wearing special jerseys with a tool belt design and Brevard Habitat logo.

The jerseys will be auctioned off after the series as an additional fund raiser for Brevard Habitat.

“We know that the kids love to see Manny and we are excited that the Manatees have decided to kick off our baseball event at the ReStore,” said Enid Ortiz, ReStore Manager, Habitat for Humanity of Brevard County.

Family friendly events, such as a chili contest, will take place in the parking lot area prior to each game.

From 5 to 6 p.m., Brevard Habitat will host live music on the on the stadium concourse.

At game time, a special guest of Brevard Habitat will sing the National Anthem and winners of the First Pitch Auction will toss the ceremonial first pitch to a Manatees player who will autograph the ball for them.

During the game, Brevard Habitat will honor selected military service members and will also feature a 50-50 ticket sales and drawing.
