“The Hurricane Expo is always a fun and informative event,” said Police Chief Mark Renkens.

“We started this event in 2005 and every year it has grown.  The idea is to get as many people to attend so they can learn about preparedness and get to know the people that provide public safety products, services and information.”

During the event, IHeart Media will be giving away two tickets to the Taylor Swift concert to be held on October 31 in Tampa.

Register at the IHeart Media tent near the Expo’s main stage.  Other door prizes will be given away during the event including restaurant and retail gift cards and other hurricane safety related items.

The event is free and open to the public.
