Patrick AFB and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Placed On FPCON BRAVO

BREVARD COUNTY • PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, FLORIDA – Patrick Air Force Base and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station have been placed in Force Protection Condition (FPCON for short) BRAVO in response to a generalized threat against Department of Defense facilities throughout the United States.

Force Protection Condition Bravo applies when an increased and more predictable threat of terrorist activity exists.

You can expect delays when entering the Patrick AFB and CCAFS gates and you may be asked for additional identification when entering base facilities.

Team Patrick-Cape personnel are asked to remain vigilant.

Be aware of your surroundings, report strangers, unidentified vehicles, abandoned parcels or anything that looks out of place or out of the ordinary.

These or other unusual activities should be reported immediately to the 45th Security Forces Squadron 321-494-2008 24/7 or 321-494-5794, during duty hours.
