BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A brush fire in West Cocoa started in area of Rayburn Road and Alligator Lane on Saturday afternoon.

The fire burned to Mikonis Road and Brevard County Fire Rescue, Cocoa Fire Department and the Florida Forest Service arrived on the scene.

According to Brevard County Fire Rescue, the 5-acre fire is now contained and the scene is winding down.
