The TD Ameritrade Fan’s Choice Award is the only college baseball honor determined solely by the fans. The winner will be recognized at the TD Ameritrade College Home Run Derby in Omaha, Nebraska on July 2, airing live on ESPN.

Developed in 2012, the honor exemplifies college baseball players whose unique qualities expand well beyond the playing surface, particularly in the classroom and in the community.

They are positive role models and exemplify core values like teamwork and integrity along with the drive to win.

As a senior, Wortman batted .297 in 46 starts for the Panthers, notching 24 RBIs and 39 runs scored.
