BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Three more divisions got underway Monday night in the District 22 All-Stars. At Rockledge Little League’s McKnight Family Sports Complex, the 11/12 Softball got started with Rockledge Little League meeting Mims Little League.

For Mims, J. Brisbee scored 2 runs, but Rockledge’s E. Cofer accounted for 4 of Rockledge’s runs in their 18-5 win.

Also at McKnight Family Sports Complex, Mims Little League took on North Merritt Island in Junior Softball.

North Merritt Island’s L. Gifford had a double in the 4th, but Mims’ bats also lit up with triples from H. Trew, D. Djesus and J. Landers (2) while K. Rankin added a double in Mims’ 18-12 win.

Meanwhile, up at Mims Little League’s Holder Park, Indian River City Little League battled with Merritt Island Little League in the 11/12 Baseball division.

Merritt Island’s B. Gay had a double while J. Woodward hit a homer and was the winning pitcher in Indian River City’s 6-5 win.

Play continues in these 3 divisions tomorrow night and Junior Baseball’s 3-team pool gets started.
