BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Beachside Counseling & Wellness, LLC, is pleased to announce that Kristi Van Sickle, Psy.D., has joined the team of health and wellness professionals and will begin seeing patients in mid-August.
Van Sickle, an assistant professor at Florida Tech since 2007, has devoted her psychology career to public health. As the former Director of the Brevard Healthcare Forum (2007-2014), Van Sickle worked with area health care providers and leaders to positively impact pressing community health needs in Brevard County.
Additionally, Van Sickle assisted the Brevard Health Alliance and Parrish Medical Center in the development, establishment and ongoing management of integrated behavioral Health services within their patient centered medical homes.
She has been recognized as Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Certified Content Expert by the National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA), and is available for consultation to organizations wishing to pursue PCMH recognition and/or to integrate behavioral health into primary care medical services.
At Beachside Consulting and Wellness, Dr. Van Sickle will work with private pay patients to help them achieve optimal emotional health and physical wellbeing.
