Melbourne PD Arrest Suspect For DUI Following A Hit and Run Investigation

According to Commander Dan Lynch, Lisa Fae Hamor of Melbourne, 47, left the scene of the crash and was seen by Officer Chris Hession cutting through from Sarno Rd. to Wickham Rd. on the cut thru road west of Wids Place Bar.

Charged With Felony DUI, DUI With Property Damage, DUI With Personal Injury, Driving While License Permanently Revoked, Violation of Probation and Possession of Cannabis Less Than 20 Grams. 

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Melbourne Police Department has arrested a female suspect in connection to a hit and run investigation that occurred on June 16 in Melbourne.

On Tuesday at about 10 p.m.  a woman driving a beige Chevrolet pick-up truck on Sarno Road in the area of Apollo Boulevard rear-ended another vehicle, causing property damage.

According to Commander Dan Lynch, Lisa Fae Hamor of Melbourne, 47, left the scene of the crash and was seen by Officer Chris Hession cutting through from Sarno Road to Wickham Road on the cut through road west of Wids Place Bar.

Officer Hession caught up to the truck as it turned into the Huntington Green Apartment complex. The truck did not stop when Officer Hession activated his red and blue lights.

The suspect drove around in the complex before stopping in front of apartment #140.

After a DUI investigation, Hamor was subsequently arrested for Felony DUI. It was later learned Hamor has had her driver’s license permanently revoked for four or more prior DUI’s and is currently on probation for Felony DUI.

Hamor submitted to the require breath test and gave a .18 sample.

The vehicle Hamor was driving was subsequently seized by the Melbourne Police Department due to the nature of the charges.

Hamor is charged with Felony DUI, DUI with property damage, DUI with personal injury, Driving while license permanently revoked, Violation of Probation and Possession of Cannabis less than 20 grams.
